Anyone with present or past affiliations in the storage arena—including components, drives, systems and software: optical, magnetic, and solid state.

Eyal Bek is the Director of Product Marketing at SanDisk in Milpitas, CA. After receiving his B.S. in Electronics in 2002, he went on to earn his MBA in Strategy and Marketing from Tel Aviv University. Eyal built his knowledge and experience through various positions in hardware design engineer at multiple organizations before joining SanDisk. Prior to his current position, he was product manager at SanDisk where he helped develop new business opportunities through sales channels and alliances, as well as lead pre-sale marketing initiatives for product launches. Eyal’s main focus now involves building go-to-market strategies, developing product positioning and messaging, in addition to overseeing market segment analysis and competitive benchmarking for products. Eyal is no stranger to the international community as he is often seen making the rounds at industry speaking events to share his insight into the growing SSD market.
David Burks is a Product Marketing Director for Seagate Technology. Based out Seagate's Longmont Colorado design center, David is currently focused only on Solid State Hybrid Drive or SSHD technology. David has over 20 years of storage experience spanning hard drive, solid state and optical storage technologies in engineering, business development and sales and marketing roles. In his spare time David enjoys biking in the Colorado Rockies and making wine.
Jeff Chen is a Product Manager at Intel Corporation and is responsible for driving client storage interfaces, technologies, and solutions into next generation Ultrabook™ and notebook computers. In his nine years at Intel, Jeff has marketed information technology solutions to the healthcare vertical and a remote patient monitoring solution. Jeff earned his Master’s of Business Administration from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
Tom Coughlin has many publications and six patents to his credit. Tom is also the author of Digital Storage in Consumer Electronics: The Essential Guide, which was published by Newnes Press. Coughlin Associates provides market and technology analysis (including reports on several digital storage technologies and applications and a newsletter) as well as Data Storage Technical Consulting services. Tom publishes the Digital Storage Technology Newsletter, the Media and Entertainment Storage Report, and the Capital Equipment and Technology for the Hard Disk Drive Industry Report.
Tom is active with SMPTE, SNIA, IDEMA, the IEEE Magnetics Society, IEEE CE Society, and other professional organizations. Jim Handy of Objective Analysis has over 35 years in the electronics industry including 20 years as a leading semiconductor and SSD industry analyst. Early in his career he held marketing and design positions at leading semiconductor suppliers including Intel, National Semiconductor, and Infineon. A frequent presenter at trade shows, Mr. Handy is known for his technical depth, accurate forecasts, widespread industry presence and volume of publication. He has written hundreds of market reports, articles for trade journals, and white papers, and is frequently interviewed and quoted in the electronics trade press and other media.
